KINROSS RFC 2ND XV 5 - 32 GRANGEMOUTH STAGS RFC 2ND XV

This was another fine performance by the second string bolstered by the return of Gordie Crossan and Brian Aspinall

Kinross turned up with what turned out to be their first team squad after their game with Kinloss RAF rfc was cancelled earlier that morning, so it was never going to be a walk over for the home side.

And it was the visitors with the wind at their backs that took the lead  after a good break out of defence by their hooker, whom although tackled, supported the play to eventually score in the corner.

The home side rallied and soon scored two tries in the first half to go in 10- 5 up at the half.

Kinross struggled in the second half and were pinned back in their own half by some excellent kicking from Crossan, and the excellent chasing of the young wingers.

The twos went on to score a further 4 tries, the best of which was started by Jamie Baxter on his own goal line and finished of by Strapon, after several phases of controlled rugby.

The 2s are away to Lismore this weekend without the services of Ronaldo Innes whom is of on holiday to the USA.
