Saturday 17th November Glensburgh Park SRU 2nds League Division 4 East GRANGEMOUTH STAGS 2ND XV 23- 8 LISMORE RFC Lismore scored a kicked through to score off a fumbled pass, and kick a pen, other than that they were never in the game. Ref was not the best, killed the second half with rescrum after rescrum, binned Gav McCluskey for shoeing. The whole team played very well, I think we missed two tackles all game. New back row boy from Hillfoots, Fergie was very good. Jordan and rubberhead were solid in defence and fab in attack. Macolm x was fantastic in the maul and ruck. Jordan opened the scoring of the first phase of play chipping their line and following his own kick up. Stuart Allan twice rounded his wing once in the first and then with 5 mins to go. Stuart’s game was faultless in d and offence, should be in the 1s. Chisey played first half at 9 and moved to wing for the second to give Ryan a shot. Chisey’s d in the second was brilliant. Gavin Scott looked really good in the second row with Davie Mac whose tackling was outstanding. Paul burns came on for cal but had to go back off. The team played well, we used our heads, took points when they were on offer, controlled play, much better, but still lots to do. Discipline was not great in the second half, Lismore killed the ball at every breakdown and the ref let them away with it until Gav shoed one of them. Team.
