...MAIRI FORSYTH CALLED UP FOR SCOTLAND SQUAD...

Congratulations to our very own Mairi Forsyth who recently got the confirmation that she has been called up to the Scottish Womens U18 Development squad. Mairi started playing for Grangemouth 'Stagettes' when they reformed for the 2006-07 season, and has shown enough to the selectors that she has been given this fantastic opportunity.

Having learned the game at Denny High School, Mairi was unable to represent the Stagettes in her first season as she was too young to play competitive rugby at senior level, but she is now thriving at the club, and will no doubt continue to improve under the expert guidance of the Scone!

We all look forward to watching her progress, and wish her the very best of luck in the coming season.
