GRFC SENIOR PLAYERS DINNER 2007/08

Surprisingly, the usual bun fight did not break out at the annual players dinner this season. There are rumours that this was because the quality of the food was that good... or it might be because no one likes to see a grown man cry, and if someone had wasted a burger, Bubba and Stumpy would have been in bits.

Usual rules applied of wear a loud shir, drink more that is thought correct for an elephant, accept the fine in good grace and try not to be sick on your shoes. We had a great bon fire though, and then even some fun player spotting up the toon! Maybes next year we will even get to use our own club house in stead of making room for pass the parcel and being punted in to the weights room. On the bright side, it was the first time half the team had set foot in the place.
