...STUART ALLAN IS OFF TO SAIL THE 7 SEAS...

In the Navy / Manhattan Woman - album cover

As if letting McSniff off to play toy soldiers was not bad enough, the club is sad to learn that they are going to be losing another great young player to the armed services, when Stuart Allan officially joins the Navy.

Stuart played the majority of the 2007-08 season in the U18's, but was selected to play for the 1st XV on a handful of occasions too, most notably scoring on his debut against Newton Stewart in the fourth game of the season. He also became an officially recognised tourist by travelling for the Welsh 6 Nations fixture in Cardiff, and by all reports had a thoroughly enjoyable time. So, Grangemouth Stags RFC want to thank Stuart for his Sterling work in the season past, and wish him every success in the Village People troupe for the coming years. We do hope he can pop in to Glensburgh in the future with his boots, and he would always be welcome for a game. Stay safe and don't be a stranger.

Now, all together... "In the Navy, you can sail the seven seas, Don't you hesitate, there is no need to wait they're signing up new seamen fast..." Poor sod.
